ELECTION NOTE TO THE TSHWANE DA CAUCUS

I have accepted the nomination for the position of Deputy Chief Whip. If mandated to take up this position my primary goal will be to support the Chief Whip and Caucus Management in its effort to manage, organise and lead our caucus to be an effective opposition party, indeed a government in waiting. Ek het die afgelope vier jaar  ondervinding opgedoen wat my  handig te pas sal kom as adjunk-hoofsweep. As navorsingsbeampte in die koukuskantoor het ek eerstehandse kennis opgedoen oor die funksionering van hierdie kantoor. As mediavoorsitter het ek ' n uitgebreide  netwerk van mediakontakte gevestig. As woordvoerder vir Vervoer  het  ek die kwessie van gebrekkige openbare vervoer, veral met mediadekking,  in die kollig gehou.  Ek is pas weer as media woordvoerder aangewys. I believe in constructive discipline, communication and sound management principles to create an environment conducive to maximum achievement by every caucus member. We are a winning team and that must show at all times. I am eager to take up the challenge as Deputy Chief Whip and will work hard to make a contribution to realise our goal in Council. Be assured that I will support and promote your issues and needs with Caucus Management.
